CookingThyme on Go Gingham

Sara Tetreault, the blogger behind Go Gingham, attended one of our recent First Tuesday Cooking Club classes and is sharing her experience on Go Gingham today. Head over to her blog to read the full post!

Sara, also known as the "Stylishly Frugal Living Expert," blogs about just that--living in a frugal and stylish way! She shares our belief that food is best when it's cooked at home and shared with family and friends. We especially love Sara's tips for organizing a dinner group and planning home-cooked meals

Apple Tasting

Wow, it's been a long time since we've blogged on here, but we're planning to start blogging twice a week from here on out! We had a WONDERFUL time at Portland Nursery's Apple Tasting Event yesterday. We were swamped with kids the entire time, and sent lots of little ones away with apple cupcakes and apple smiles! We love gardening almost as much as we love cooking, and we admire Portland Nursery for their community involvement, especially with this free event. We're already looking forward to next year!

We sent out an email with some of our upcoming classes this morning. If you missed it, read it here. You can sign up for our email mailing list here.

-Joan, Jen and Katie

Happy New Year from CookingThyme!

Wishing you a very happy new year from CookingThyme. We love the idea [below] of serving 12 grapes in champagne flutes to your under-21 party-goers. It's a Spanish custom for kids to ring in the new year.
